		<description>I dont know the 8500 X50 so cant really compare. But the Road Angel plus  is a fantastic bit of kit.

You need the extension sensor for bikes as your body gets in the way of the rear sensor (works for unmarked Bikes &#38; Cars coming up behind you. Helps when you know the police are using Hayabusa's now. The Road Angel also informs you of Blackspots, Schools, Railway crossings, Fixed Cameras, Hand held lasers, Average speed area's and Congestion (though that doesnt matter on a bike.) They do a Sat Nav version But I dont think it has a laser detector in it.
