We were driving west on a road and a motorcycle cop was driving east. The cop claims we were going 64 miles an hour. he was going east at 40 miles an hour. how does he accuratly know are speed because he did not point any radar at us and he would have had no time to?
We were not shot with radar from another car because we had just left the parking lot.
he does not necessarily have to be the one that clocked you.
There may have been another one on your side of the road that was using radar, (or any one of several types of speed control timing devices) and just calls out the speeding vehicle to a "chase" car sitting nearby.
Many departments use this type of tactic when they are trying to correct a speeding or aggressive driving problem on an area of a road. They will saturate the area with traffic stops, and tickets. The word gets out, everyone slows down and the problem is solved.
